TV star Juhi Rustagi's mother dies in road accident

KOCHI: The mother of television star Juhi Rustagi (Lachu) died in an accident in front of HPCL in Irumpanam at Seaport - Airport Road. Bhagya Lakshmi (Kamalu-58), residing in VV Garden in Vazhakkala and wife of late Raghuveer, died on Saturday morning.

The accident took place at 11.45 am. Bhagyalakshmi and her son were traveling on a scooter when a water tanker hit them from behind. She fell from the scooter and died on the spot. Her son Chirag's injuries are minor. Funeral will be held on Sunday 2 pm at Shanthitheeram public crematorium in Eruveli. Siblings: Raju, Gopinathan, Saraswati, Gopalakrishnan, Maya.
