"Narendra Modi provided all possible support to Wayanad for its recovery from disaster": BJP state president K Surendran 

KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran said that Prime Minister's visit to Wayanad was most useful for Kerala. "The Prime Minister was able to understand things directly in a way that no Prime Minister tried before. He took a lot of time and studied the extent of the disaster. Through his visit, Narendra Modi provided all possible support to Wayanad for its recovery from this disaster," Surendran pointed out in a statement.

"Prime Minister's words that money will not be an obstacle for anything are a source of hope for Kerala. He has asked the state to study the matter further and submit a detailed memorandum. PM gave the message that the Centre and Kerala will work together to make the rehabilitation of Wayanad possible. The Prime Minister has managed to hold the Malayalis close to his heart. Modi can understand the pains of Kerala as the administrator who has led the rehabilitation activities in the face of many disasters. We express our gratitude to the Prime Minister on behalf of all the Malayalis. The state government should not take things as they were in the past, but should do their homework and study things properly and approach the centre," K Surendran said.
