KOZHIKODE: There will be no women in the state committee of the Muslim League this time either. The Muslim League will elect a new 19-member state committee on March 4. Muslim League State General Secretary PMA Salam has given hints that there will be no women in this. He replied to the media's question that the women's league is an organization only for women and no man has been admitted to it. “Women are given representation. Women’s representation in other organizations was low, but the criticism is directed only at the league.”, he added.

The league also clarified that there will be women in the working committee and the secretariat. The General Secretary himself states that 51 percent of the members are women. The state committee elections to be held on March 4 will elect the state president, general secretary, treasurer and eight vice presidents.
