Nursing staff enters ICU at 4 am, rapes patient after altercation

JAIPUR: A woman aged 24 was sexually molested inside the ICU of a hospital in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The victim sought treatment from the hospital due to her worsening respiratory illness, and adding to the worries came the shocking attack. The nursing assistant of the hospital was arrested in the incident.

Accused Chirag Yadav raped the woman at four o'clock in the morning. The police say that the accused injected sedative medicines into the victim so as the shroud the incident. However, his plan fell out of place as the victim was awake at dawn hours and screamed at his presence as she doubted danger. At this time, Chirag administered the medicine to the woman by force.

After regaining consciousness, the victim informed her husband by phone about the dreadful incident. The police informed that the accused had been taken into custody and is being interrogated.

When inspecting the CCTV visuals, it was found that Chirag Yadav entered the ICU at odd hours and covered the camera using curtains.
