Almost 20 women were gang raped after giving fake promises of jobs in Anganwadis(playschool). The incident came to light after one woman complained to the Pali district police saying that the accused had molested her and twenty other women with the promise of employment.
In the complaint, it is also mentioned that the accused filmed the horrific act and demanded Rs 5 lakh from the victim, or else threatened to upload the scenes online.
The complainant and all other women had come to Sirohi months ago for Anganwadi work. The accused had arranged accommodation and food supplies for all the women during their stay in Sirohi. In the complaint, it was alleged that the food was drugged and all women were sexually harassed in their intoxicated state.
