Sivagiri Mutt to get chair used by Sree Narayana Guru

SIVAGIRI: The chair of Sree Narayana Guru, which was kept for several years by Gurudeva devotee late Kunnamkari Soman in his pooja room, will now be kept in the Sivagiri Mutt for the benefit of devotees. The chair was used by Gurudeva when he travelled through Kuttanad. This chair was eventually handed over to Soman, who then kept it in his pooja room.

Kunnamkari Soman passed away on May 9. He and his family members believed that the family made great progress since they received Gurudeva's chair. Having served in various capacities as Kunnamkari SNDP Yogam Branch Secretary, and President, Sivagiri Mutt Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha Central Committee member, Soman was very interested in the development activities of Sivagiri Mutt and Muhamma Vishwagaji Mutt. His sons Premji, Prashant and Praveen R. Soman will deliver the chair to Sivagiri tomorrow.
