SIVAGIRI: Sivagiri pilgrimage season of this year is set to commence from Friday continuing until January 5. Preceding the pilgrimage, a series of lectures and special gatherings have been scheduled from today till December 29 aiming to impart wisdom to devotees of Sree Narayana.

The highlight of the 91st Sivagiri Pilgrimage is the celebration of the centenary of interfaith harmony envisioned by Sri Narayana Gurudeva. This commemoration marks the centenary of the Sarvamata Mahasammelana organized by Gurudev at Aluva. Coinciding with this occasion are the centenaries of Vaikom Satyagraha and Mahakavi Kumaranashan's incarnation at Pallana.

Commencing from the 16th to the 20th, daily Gurudharma preaching sessions will be conducted from 10 in the morning, covering various topics under the guidance of monks from Sivagiri Mutt. A traditional medicine conference will follow from the 21st, providing medical examinations and free treatments.

From the 22nd to the 25th, a program of divine preaching and meditation led by Swami Satchidananda, focusing on Gurudev's life and vision will run from 9 am to 5 pm. Several esteemed monks will deliver meditation messages with others participating in the Shantihoma using Homamantra composed by Gurudev.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to inaugurate the All Religion Conference on the 26th. The Guru Dharma Propaganda Sabha meeting will follow on the 27th. Poet Vishwamangalam Sundaresan will inaugurate the centenary meeting of Kumaranashan Deha Viyoga on the 28th.

Under the Guru Dharma Campaign Sabha's auspices, several padayatras will commence, including the Sarvamatsamella padayatra starting on the 21st, Vaikom Satyagraha Satabdi Smriti Padayatra from Vaikam on the 24th, and Kumaranashan Smriti Padayatra from Pathanamthitta. Over 100 padayatras are planned to culminate at Sivagiri, organized by various SNDP unions and temples.

"The message of Gurudev during the Sivagiri Pilgrimage embodies interfaith harmony, integrating the philosophical thoughts of all religions. This pilgrimage's message encompasses everything necessary for the holistic progress of the nation," said Swami Satchidananda, President of Sree Narayanadharmasangam Trust.
