MALAPPURAM: Muhammad Jifri Muthukoya Thangal, president of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama, and Prof Ali Kutty Musliyar, General Secretary of Samastha Kerala, condemned the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam that took 26 innocent lives. The two religious leaders called the crime an unforgivable sin.

They also called on governments to remain vigilant to prevent such attacks from recurring.

“The people must stand united against any move that undermines the integrity, unity, and brotherhood of the country."

They both expressed their condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and undergoing treatment.

The Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 people, was masterminded by Saifullah Khalid alias Kasuri, the deputy chief of the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is the right-hand man of global terrorist and Lashkar co-founder Hafiz Saeed. Investigative agencies have concluded that Kasuri was attacked in collaboration with Lashkar's local arm, the Resistance Front.
