THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan said the election results are a reflection of how much people hate the state government. He said that the verdict in favour of UDF is a blow to the face of the anti-people government. VD Satheesan told the media that the UDF has won in exposing the government's failures and its anti-people actions.

'Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who admits that the LDF failed to achieve the expected victory in Kerala, remains silent on the reasons. The Chief Minister is not ready to come in front of the media or face questions. During the election campaign, the Chief Minister insulted leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and tried to stir up communalism by spreading false campaigns. The election result is a heavy blow to the false campaign of the Chief Minister who tried for a Congress-free Kerala along with the BJP who tried for a Congress-free Bharat.

The chief minister is also the mastermind behind giving the Thrissur seat to the BJP to freeze investigations by central agencies. The concern expressed by UDF before the election has now come true. There was widespread vote leakage in CPM strongholds in Thrissur. This election saw an open CPM-BJP deal beyond the secret understanding. The Chief Minister who is now saying that BJP's victory in Thrissur should be taken seriously, needs to do an introspection first' - VD Satheesan responded.
