Karuvannur scam: Relatives say complainant is missing, lodges complaint with police

THRISSUR: Relatives of Sujesh Kannad, who had complained to the party about the Karuvannur Co-operative Bank scam, have lodged a complaint that he has gone missing. They lodged a complaint with the Iringalakuda police. Sujesh is not picking up calls on his mobile. He went missing around noon on Saturday. Police said a case would be registered in the incident.

The scam came to light after Sujesh went on a one-man strike in front of the bank. Sujesh had earlier been expelled from the party for anti-party activities. Sujesh Kannad had said that he was fighting alone. He also received death threats following the protest.
