Major influx in Kerala BJP: Former MLA and Bigg Boss star Dr. Robin Radhakrishnan take Saffron scarf

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI leader and former Vaikom MLA K Ajith and Bigg Boss star Dr Robin Radhakrishnan joined the BJP. BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar gave them membership at a function held at Mararji Bhavan.

K Ajith was elected to the assembly from Vaikom in 2006 and 2011. He was a member of the CPI Kottayam district council and a member of the AITUC state council. Ajith said that many benefits that the Scheduled Castes were entitled to have been denied in the last ten years. He said that the ruling and opposition parties are not ready to speak out against this and that the BJP is the one that provides the most support to the Scheduled Castes at the national level.

Robin Radhakrishnan, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, said that he joined the BJP after being impressed by Modi's development work and the priority given to youth. BJP General Secretary S Suresh, NDA Vice Chairman A.N. Radhakrishnan, BJP State Vice President K. Soman and others spoke.
