Recently, Health Minister Veena George mistakenly attended the venue of another program, which caused controversy. The minister accidentally attended a function organized by the Atma Bodhodaya Sangham in Mavelikkara. Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai inaugurated the function at Cherukole, where Health Minister Veena George unexpectedly arrived. Veena George arrived after the governor's inaugural address. Shortly after arriving on stage, the minister realized that she came to the wrong venue. Kodikunnil Suresh MP, who was present on the stage, informed Veena George that she came to the wrong venue. The minister immediately left.

Although she mistook the venue, the minister returned after having a friendly conversation with the governor. PS Sreedharan Pillai has now responded to the incident. He described it as a 'God granted moment'.
