THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sandra Thomas responded to producer Vijay Babu's opinion that she was ill-suited for key positions in the Producers Association elections. Vijay Babu, former business partner of Sandra, responded that the managing partner certificate of Friday Film House is not given to an individual but to the production company, and therefore, deemed Sandra unfit for the elections.

"The shrewd machinations of some people are finally coming out into the public. We can only take it as a joke," responded Sandra.

Sandra Thomas:

“Vijay Babu has already admitted that I was the managing partner of Friday Film House till 2016; in other words, it is clear from this that the censorship credit released in the name of Friday Film House till 2016 is also in my name. I have not made any claim on Friday Film House after 2016. As per the rules of the Kerala Film Producers Association, the censorship credit of all the films during my tenure as managing partner is in my name.

Therefore, as a regular member of KFPA, I can legally contest for the key positions of the association, and there is nothing in Vijay Babu's post that can legally refute it.

The law does not need Vijaya Babu’s certificate to take its course. The court will evaluate the matter based on the association's bylaws.

People who are doing extra work as lackeys of others, better have some conscience to not end up as a joke in society.”
