THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government will soon start boat services from KSRTC servicing tourist locations, in a bid to increase the revenue of the debt-trapped economy of the state. The decision got finalized after the initial run of boat services at Kumarakom tasted success. The Budget tourism cell is readying moves to start boat services in 10 more districts in Kerala. The offers have reached boat owners who will decide on renting or giving their boats on a commission basis. The initiative will see KSRTC starting a new portal for booking.
