Pattoor goon attack: Lookout notice issued against Om Prakash and accomplices

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have issued a lookout notice against goonda leader Om Prakash and his accomplices in connection with the Pattoor attack case. A lookout notice has been issued against four accused, including Om Prakash, who have not been caught so far in the case. The new action came as the police force continued to be under the shadow of allegations that the accused could not be apprehended despite the attack took place metres away from the Pettah police station.

Apart from Om Prakash, a lookout notice was also issued against Vivek, Sarath Kumar and Abin Shah. Nine people have been arrested so far in the case. According to the police, Om Prakash and his accomplices left the state and are absconding after the incident. Meanwhile, four gangsters had surrendered in the Vanchiyoor court last month, making a mockery out of the police force. The surrendered are Asif, Arif, Jomon and Ranjith.

The lookout notice was issued as searches inside and outside the state for the other accused yield no results. The city police commissioner said that those who have information about the accused should inform the Pettah police station.
