Innocent did not lose his life to cancer, he refused to go to US for treatment, reveals doctor

Doctor V P Gangadharan, who treated Innocent for cancer, revealed the actor’s attitudes and approaches during the time of his treatment. The actor got treatment after having 100 % faith in the doctor. This is the first lesson that all patients should follow, the doctor said.

‘Innocent was one who had a clear knowledge of the disease. Innocent had told me that he got a lot of advice from many during the time of his treatment. Some asked him to eat mullan chakka fruit (mullatha), he will hear everything, all those things will be lying in the corner of the house. This was his stand. His insights were beyond imagination. Not only his positivity but also that understanding should be followed.'

"Innocent is not just an eighth grader. We have seen PhD holders doing stupid things. Innocent had not done anything that. He did not go to America for treatment. Innocent's opinion was that any treatment available in any corner of the world is found in India and Kerala. His elder brother is a doctor in America and he could have easily flown there. Many called me after his death. They all wanted to know whether he lost his life to cancer. His death was not due to cancer,’ the doctor said.
