KOZHIKODE: In a significant development in the PSC bribery case, complainant Sreejith has come forward, revealing that Pramod Kottooli did not take any money from him.

"Pramod Koottooli did not take money for the PSC appointment. Pramod is a good friend of mine. I don't have any financial transactions with him. I have not filed a complaint against anyone anywhere. Did the party say that I had filed a complaint? I don't have to give money to anyone. I came to know about this through the media. Someone has misled Pramod. An investigation should be conducted to find the person who created the controversy," Sreejith told a media outlet.

On Saturday, Pramod and his family members had staged a strike in front of Sreejith's house.

Pramod Kottooli, a member of the Kozhikode Town Area Committee, was expelled from the primary membership of the CPM on Saturday. CPM district secretary P Mohanan stated in a press release that Pramod was expelled from the party for anti-party activities.
