Actor Sreenath Bhasi has approached AMMA for membership after he was banned by film bodies. He reached the office of the association and submitted the application. As per the rule in AMMA, the application can be accepted only after the approval of the Executive.
Many complaints were raised against the actor including not attending the shooting after accepting money from producers. “Bhasi has no idea about the films he is acting in and the contracts he signed”, said producer Renjith while announcing the actor’s ban.
The film bodies had taken a stand the other day that the registration number of AMMA should be included in the contract signed with the producer, otherwise, they cannot take risks by casting the actors. Following this, Sreenath Bhasi approached the office of AMMA with the membership application.
Apart from Bhasi, actor Shane Nigam was also banned by film associations. It was complained that Shane Nigam even demands to see the edited movie to make sure his character is given prominence.
