SFI is taking the recent news related to the election of Kattakkada Christian College, Thiruvananthapuram seriously. It has been decided by the SFI State Secretariat to remove SFI Kattakada Area Secretary Vishakh from all the selected elements since he was not ready to fix the problem or inform the responsible authorities despite knowing that his name was in the UUC list sent from the college to the university although he was not selected. SFI expanded the student politics in the colleges of Kerala by overcoming many obstacles and attacks, and today SFI is flying the banner of victory in almost all the colleges in Kerala with student support after constant struggles. A movement built on the foundation of many martyrdoms will in no way be allowed to be used for any kind of vested interests. The speech of Muslim League General Secretary PMA Salam that came out the other day should also be taken seriously. PMA Salam has preached that "When the League was ruling and the Education Department belonged to the League, MSF won the seats in the University/College Union administration by playing some games." The League leader himself has openly admitted that he committed serious illegal activities during his tenure. The state leader of the league has now confirmed the allegation that SFI has been making for ages. SFI State President K Anushree and Secretary PM Arsho have requested through a statement that the media producing anti-SFI news and the MSF-KSU leadership should clarify their stand regarding PMA Salam's open statement while SFI is taking exemplary steps against wrong trends in the organization.
