Hotel owner killed, body found chopped into pieces; hotel employee and girlfriend arrested

KOZHIKODE: In a shocking incident, a hotel owner was killed and his body was chopped into pieces and found abandoned in Attapadi. The deceased has been identified as Tirur native Siddique (58). It is reported that the murder took place at a hotel in Eranhipalam in Kozhikode.

The remains of the dead body were found abandoned in a trolley bag in Agali in Attapadi. Police have taken Shibil, an employee of Siddique's hotel in Olavanna, and his girlfriend Farhana into custody in the incident. They were taken into custody by the Tamil Nadu Police in Chennai. A team of Kerala Police will reach Chennai and bring them to Malappuram. The accused were absconding since yesterday. Shibil is 22 years old and Farhana is 18 years old.

The murder came to light after the police conducted an investigation on the missing complaint lodged by Siddique's son.
