KOCHI: After controversy erupted over a mark list showing that SFI State Secretary and Maharajas College student PM Arsho had passed an unwritten exam, he came up with a response. Arsho told the media that he did not write a single exam in the third semester of MA Archaeology.
"I was not in Ernakulam on the days of the examination. It was not possible to enter the district due to a case. I don't know how my results showed 'pass'. I haven't seen my results. No one was entrusted with the task of giving a pass for an unwritten exam. I don't want to win like this. It should be checked whether it was a technical error or deliberate', said Arsho.
Subjects and marks were not mentioned in Arsho's mark list. But his name is recorded in the list of students who passed. After the incident became controversial, the Maharajas College had corrected the list and stated that Arsho has failed the exams. Ernakulam Maharajas is an autonomous college.
The result of the exam was released in March. Arsho's 3rd Semester Archeology mark list has 'zero' marks but he was mentioned as 'passed' which became controversial. The KSU activists staged a blockade at the Maharajas College Principal's office to protest the issue.
