NEW DELHI: Indian Olympic Association president PT Usha said that she is happy that the wrestlers have stopped their protest against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. She was talking to the media in Delhi.
"I am glad that they stopped the protest. They are all sports stars. They should be doing well in sports. I am happy that they have reached great heights. I want everything to turn out well," Usha said.
The wrestlers suspended their protest after holding talks with Union Minister Anurag Thakur. The Delhi Police will submit the charge sheet against Brij Bhushan by June 15. The minister also assured the wrestlers that Brij Bhushan will not return to the top of WFI anymore. Following this, the wrestlers decided to suspend their protest till June 15.
