KOZHIKODE: Complaint of police assault for not giving way for minister's vehicle. Mohammad Sadif, a resident of Chelari, was assaulted by the police on the grounds that he did not give side to Minister Ahamed Devarkovil's vehicle. The incident took place in the South Beach area of ​​Kozhikode.

The minister's vehicle and Sadif's lorry were going from Chombala to Parappanangadi. Sadif was the one driving the lorry. The policemen who accompanied the minister's vehicle assaulted him saying that he did not give way to the minister's vehicle.

Following this, the locals, who were angry with the police assaulting Sadif, detained the minister who was passing and protested. Sadif sought treatment at Kozhikode Beach Hospital. His hand is injured and it is reported that there is a bruise. Kozhikode Town South Police registered a case and started an investigation following the protest of locals.
