THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A four-year-old girl who was playing in the backyard was attacked and injured by a stray dog. Rosli, daughter of Regen-Sarita couple of Anchuthengu Mampally Kripa Nagar was attacked by a stray dog. The child's face was also bitten. The child was rescued by the neighbors who heard the screams. Rosli was seriously injured and admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

Meanwhile, reports of stray dog ​​attacks in various parts of the state have become a continuing story. People of all ages are getting attacked by stray dogs. Last month, a nine-year-old girl was rounded up and attacked by stray dogs while she was playing in her backyard in Muzhappilangad, Kannur. Jhanvi (9), a third-class student of Pachakkara, was the one who got injured. The child's thigh and arm were deeply injured. Three dogs rounded up the girl and attacked her. There was an attempt to bite the child and drag her.

Last month, the state also witnessed a tragic incident where an eleven-year-old mute boy was bitten by stray dogs in Kannur district itself. Nihal Naushad, son of Naushad and Nuseefah, was bitten to death by stray dogs in Muzhappilangad.
