CHENNAI: Another Vande Bharat service is coming to Kerala where the trains are making huge profits. Reports said that this service will connect the cities of Chennai-Bengaluru-Ernakulam. There will be a Vande Bharat service network from Chennai to Bengaluru and from Bengaluru to Ernakulam. This train will reach Ernakulam from Bengaluru in just nine hours.
The present decision is to run a total of eight services namely Chennai-Bengaluru and Bengaluru-Ernakulam South. The train that departs from Chennai center in the evening will reach Bengaluru at 4 am. The services are now organized in such a way that it departs from there at 4:30 and reach Ernakulam at 1:30 in the afternoon. The service will be in the same way. The decision has been taken considering the Diwali rush. It has been directed to use the spare racks of southern railway.
Kerala's second Vande Bharat was flagged off by the Prime Minister in September. Along with this, the Prime Minister also flagged off eight new Vande Bharat Expresses in the country. These were services connecting 11 states like Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat. The train allocated to Kerala and Rourkela - Bhubaneswar - Puri Vande Bharat Express are faster. Three hours faster than the trains running on the same routes.
