THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Malayali startup with a digital kiosk that helps people diagnose any disease within minutes time is getting popular in the state. The tool is called Versicle Technologies Prognosis and it works in different languages. The information given as per the instructions received through the touch screen will be analyzed with the help of the built-in intelligence of the kiosk system.

Blood pressure, heart health (ECG) and body weight will be obtained in minutes time. Patient information is collected at the behest of the chatbot. There is also a seating system for the patient. Versicles Vend N Go has been set up at Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram and RCT Mall, Mumbai. Prognosis will be installed at Technopark Phase I on Monday.

A diagnosis can be made within a minute. If there is a risk, the patient will be warned. Being connected to the telehealth system, medication and medical advice can be obtained without visiting a doctor. The data is fed into a cloud-based artificial intelligence engine. Versicles CEO Manoj Dattan raised the need to install more such systems in hospitals.
