Suresh Gopi reaches Nadakkavu police station with three advocates, BJP activists throng station

KOZHIKODE: Actor Suresh Gopi reached the police station for interrogation in the case registered for misbehaving with a female journalist. The actor also a former MP reached the station as per the notice of the Nadakkavu police. A large crowd of BJP activists were there in the station even before the actor reached there. The activists carried posters shouting slogans in favour of the actor. Many came forward supporting the actor. Three advocates have reached the station for the actor. BJP state chief K Surendran, Shobha Surendran, M T Ramesh, P K Krishnadas attended the padayatra.

The case was registered under section 354 A (sexual harassment against a woman), for misbehaving with the female journalist. The complaint is that the actor misbehaved with the journalist when she asked a question. The statements of the journalists and the complainant present at the time of the incident had already been recorded. The police also collected the certified copy of the video.
