KOLLAM: The search for the six-year-old girl who was kidnapped from Oyoor in Kollam continues. Abigail Sara Reji, daughter of Oyoor native Reji, was kidnapped by a four-member gang. The police are carrying out strict vehicle inspections in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts. It is indicated that the police have obtained information about the owner of the car used by the gang as well as the owner of the phone number from which a call was made to the child's mother demanding ransom. It is also reported that the phone call was made from Parippally. Reports are claiming that the gang that kidnapped the child has not left Kerala.

Abigail, who was on her way to tuition class along with her brother, was kidnapped by the four-member gang at around 4.30 pm. After some time, the child's mother received a phone call from a woman. The woman said that she got the mother's number from the child. The gang had also attempted to kidnap the girl's elder brother Jonathan. However, after dragging Jonathan on the road for a while, the group fled the spot by leaving him behind. Jonathan said that his sister was abducted by a group that arrived in a car at Kattadimukku around 4:30 in the evening.
