Attempted to abduct three-year-old girl playing in front of house; Tamil Nadu native arrested

PALAKKAD: Police have arrested a Tamil Nadu native who attempted to abduct a three-year-old girl who was playing in front of her house. The arrested person has been identified as Tamil Nadu native Senthilkumar. The incident took place in Kanjikode in Palakkad.

The girl was playing in front of her house when Senthilkumar abducted her. The autorickshaw drivers in the region felt suspicious after seeing him rushing carrying the child in his hand. They then questioned Senthilkumar and as he failed to provide clear answers, they called the police. After questioning, the police found that he had kidnapped the child. The police immediately took the suspect into custody.
