Salary of KSRTC employees can be paid in two installments; first installment before 10th, says HC

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court said the salary of KSRTC employees can be paid in two installments. The order of the high court is that the first installment should be paid before the 10th and the second before the 20th.

The division bench's order stayed the single bench's order saying that the full salary should be paid before the 10th of every month. The interim order is a big relief for the KSRTC.

The high court in last August ordered that KSRTC employees should be paid salary before the 10th of every month. The action was taken on the plea filed by the employees against the delay in payment of salaries. The court had then rejected the plea of the employees to make KSRTC a part of the government.
