THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: When a faction came forward against KPCC Digital Media Cell convener Dr P Sarin alleging financial irregularities, the fight between the two factions in the organization intensified. Six people, including Youth Congress state general secretary Veena Nair, filed a complaint against Sarin to the Congress leadership.

Allegations of dictatorial tendencies and the use of digital media for personal propaganda have also been levelled against Sarin in the complaint. Collective discussion does not take place on many issues. Another complaint was that a section of digital media members were suspended in the Pudupally by-election. The complaint was made to KPCC president K Sudhakaran, AICC general secretary KC Venugopal and state in-charge general secretary Deepa Das Munshi.

It is alleged that for filing the complaint many people were expelled from the cell's WhatsApp group of 26 people and a new group was formed, but P Sarin said that it is the party that is getting shamed for the complaint and no one has been removed from the WhatsApp group. The first group consists of those appointed by the KPCC chairman. It was also clarified that the new group was formed by excluding those who did not perform their jobs properly.
