Honeymoon ruined for Passenger who slapped IndiGo pilot

On Monday, disturbing visuals emerged showing one incensed passenger manhandling a first officer inside an IndiGo flight. The man clad in a yellow jumper was identified as Sahil Kataria during the initial phase of the investigation. The cabin crew responded in shock and a lady crew member was nearly in tears and could be seen screaming in fear over what happened. Kataria was deboarded immediately and was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for slapping the IndiGo pilot. Kataria while being moved to the police was seen apologizing but the officers followed the zero-tolerance policy for such offences and rejected his apology.

And now, after the initial investigation, it has been learned that Kataria was off to Goa with his wife to celebrate their honeymoon. He got married just 5 months back.

Due to intense fog in Delhi, IndiGO Airlines had to delay service by 10 hours which irked many passengers. While the pilot was announcing the delay inside the flight, Kataria lost his nerve, charged towards the pilot and slapped his face.

IndiGo in a statement released said they have put Kataria on the no-fly list for his aggressive gesture shown inside the flight. On the brighter side, the comments on the news regarding the honeymoon are hilarious.
