ISLAMABAD: Pakistan with tough action after Iran's missile attack in the southwestern province of Balochistan. Pakistan expelled Iran's diplomatic representative and recalled Pakistan's ambassador from Iran. Pakistan Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch told a press conference in Islamabad that they have decided to recall their envoy from Iran. Iran's ambassador to Pakistan is currently on a visit to Iran. Mumtaz added that there is no need for him to return now. All ongoing and planned high-level visits have also been suspended.
Two children were killed in a missile attack by Iran in the southwestern province of Balochistan in Pakistan. Three people were seriously injured. The Iranian military has stated that the attack targeted two bases linked to the terrorist organization Jaish ul-Adl. The military centres are indicating that the attack was carried out because there was a threat to the country. Pakistan is the third country after Iraq and Syria to be attacked by Iran.
However, Pakistan criticized the airstrike in harsh language. Pakistan accused Iran of an unprovoked incursion into its airspace. It has been warned that this is an unacceptable action under any circumstances and will have serious consequences.
