NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the method of agitation was chosen because it was necessary for the survival and progress of the state. The Chief Minister also stated in a press conference in Delhi that this is an agitation to protect the administrative rights of the state.
Agitation is not aimed at defeating anyone. The aim behind this agitation is to get what is deserved instead of retreating. The entire country is standing with Kerala in support. Don't try to give party political colour to the protest. Cooperative federalism is our declared ideology. However, due to some central measures, the dignity of the idea is leaking' - said the Chief Minister.
BJP is ruling directly or indirectly in 17 states in the country. The central government's position is pampering in these 17 states and torture elsewhere. Kerala is holding a special protest in Delhi tomorrow. The state's cabinet members, legislators and parliament members will participate in the agitation,'' said the Chief Minister.
