Unlike in Bineesh Kodiyeri case, CPM now issues rare document justifying Veena Vijayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM on Saturday reinstated their unfailing support for CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan who is currently caught up in the cobwebs of SFIO investigation. According to CPM. All transactions made by Exalogic remain legal and are lucid enough with proper documents. CPM’s latest bid to whitewash Veena came in the document given to the party subordinates ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

In the document, Veena Vijayan’s innocence is mentioned in a section explaining the Modi government’s atrocities on Kerala.

In the document, CPM neither mentioned Veena’s name nor the CMRL company that paid for Exalogic. It is unprecedented for the party to issue pamphlets and documents to party cadres about any case that is facing serious investigation.

Earlier, when central agencies investigated Bineesh, son of CPM former state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the party remained a mute spectator and allowed the case to take its course.

Meanwhile, Exalogic has filed a petition in the Karnataka High Court to quash the SFIO investigation in the monthly salary case. A bench of Justice M Nagaprasanna will hear the petition on Monday.
