WAYANAD: Ajeesh’s daughter reacted emotionally while responding to opposition leader V D Satheeshan about Saturday's tragic incident that took the life of her father. Ajeesh was trampled to death by the rogue elephant 'Belur Magna' on Saturday.

“Last time, a tiger prowled in the area and the forest officials even after 27 days couldn’t track it down. My daddy’s tractor was used to bring the supplies needed to catch the tiger. Even after all this help, how come such a fate happened to him? Elephants, tigers, and wild buffaloes are bothering the life of humans here. There is perennial pain and concern for all people in Wayanad and the government was able to do nothing”, Ajeesh’s daughter said.

“My Daddy was a paddy farmer. Last year. Most of his harvest was destroyed by birds. What happened to my dad should not happen again to any human being in Wayanad. No child should ever cry as much as I did. People in Wayanad have been victims of attacks from tigers and elephants for the last three years. Nobody has got an answer to our problems. You people should promise me that such an incident won’t happen again in Wayanad” Ajeesh’s daughter opined.
