Governor shown black flag in Thrissur, BJP workers beat up SFI activists

THRISSUR: Another black flag protest was staged against Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. The SFI workers protested by bypassing the security of the police and CRPF.

The black flag was shown to the governor when he came to an event in Engandiyoor in Thrissur. Meanwhile, an attempt by the BJP workers to grab hold of the SFI workers led to a clash. The police tried to take them away, but the BJP workers beat up the SFI activists. At the end of the protest, 14 SFI activists who came to show the black flag were taken into custody by the police.

There was an attempt to show black flag to the Governor on Wednesday while he was going to participate in the graduation ceremony of the University of Health. The police registered a case against 43 people in the incident.
