THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: City Police Commissioner Nagaraju said that a search has been intensified in the case of the abduction of a two-year-old nomadic girl Mary in Pettah. He told media that no definite hints have been received presently.

‘The CCTV visuals are being examined. Three hours are needed for it. This is the initial stage of the investigation. There is uncertainty in the incident. The parents told police that the child went missing at midnight but it cannot be confirmed. That was the time the parents woke up. This will be clear only after examining the CCTV footages. The people staying with the girl’s family are also being questioned. We are trying to find the child first', the commissioner said.

Mary, daughter of Amardeep and Rabina Devi, natives of L P Nagar in Hyderabad, was abducted from Pettah. The investigation is presently progressing in five groups. The parents of the child, who are street vendors, reached Thiruvananthapuram at the end of last month.

If any information is obtained about the child, please inform in these numbers 0471–2501801, 9497990008, 9497947107
