Young woman dies after bike falls off bridge near Vagamon; husband, son suffer injury

PEERUMEDU: A woman died after the bike she was travelling lost control and crashed into the rocks near Meenmutty bridge near Vagamon on Monday. Bihar native Deepa (33) is the deceased. She is the wife of Krishnakumar, a railway officer based in Ernakulam.

Krishnakumar (37) and his son Vav (9) who were along with Deepa suffered injuries in the accident. The accident took place at 10 in the morning. The family were returning after visiting a tourist spot in Vagamon. After initial treatment at a private hospital in Vagamon, Deepa was admitted to Pala Medicity but her life could not be saved.
