THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kollam MP and RSP leader NK Premachandran has heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Premachandran said that he is sure that the projects inaugurated by the Prime Minister will be implemented and that the PM's office is reviewing this every month.
Premachandran spoke in praise of the Prime Minister at the inauguration of the Railway Overbridge at Pallumukku in Kundara, Kollam. Narendra Modi launched the project online. However, the MP did not forget to lash out at the central government after this.
Premachandran said that the central government has the arrogance that it will come to power for the third consecutive time. However, a secular government will replace Modi at the centre, he said.
"The BJP has the support of the national media which is trying to bring it to power at the centre. The BJP is trying to use religious polarization to come to power," Premachandran said.
Earlier, Premachandran was severely criticized for having lunch with Narendra Modi. Premachandran responded to the criticisms by saying that he attended the lunch after he received a call saying that the Prime Minister wanted to meet him. He also said that he was not invited for a friendly lunch.
