Over 4 lakh students to appear for SSLC exams in Kerala tomorrow

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 4,27,105 students are set to appear for the SSLC, THSLC/AHSLC exams beginning tomorrow across 2971 centers in Kerala. Among them, 2,17,525 are boys and 2,09,580 are girls.

The breakdown of students by school type is as follows: 1,43,557 from government schools, 2,55,360 from aided schools, and 28,188 from unaided schools. Additionally, 630 students from the Gulf region and 285 from Lakshadweep are taking the exams.

Notably, Malappuram Education District will witness the highest number of candidates, with 28,100 students, while Alappuzha's Kuttanad Education District will have the least, with only 1,843 students.

Furthermore, 2,811 candidates will sit for the THSLC category, with 2,732 boys and 212 girls, spread across 48 centers. Additionally, 60 students will take the AHSLC category exam at Chururuthi Kalamandalam Art Higher Secondary School.

Moreover, 224 candidates will participate in the SSLC (Hearing Impaired) category across 29 examination centers, while eight candidates will take the THSLC (Hearing Impaired) exam in two centers.

The exams will conclude on March 25th, with evaluation scheduled across 70 camps in two phases from April 3rd to 20th. The exam results are expected to be announced in mid-May.
