THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi said a central agency should investigate the death of J S Siddharth, a second-year student of Pookode Veterinary College. He said this after visiting Siddharth's family in Nedumangad. The actor also added that the culprits should be punished severely for their act.
‘The impact of Siddharth's death is not only on that family, but on everyone who has children. If the state government has nothing to hide and cover, the death should be investigated by a central agency. We are seeing a very evil and demonic situation in the student politics sector for many years. Killing people by chasing and throwing. The age is to nurture friendship. The truth should be found. The accused should be punished severely. One can only feel sad for their parents. What wrong have they committed? This should not happen to anyone again. No family should go through this kind of pain. This incident has hurt all parents who have children,’ said Suresh Gopi.
