NILGIRIS: Two more people have been killed in wild elephant attacks. The attacks took place in Gudalur and Masinagudi. The deceased are estate employee Maadev (50) from Devarshola and Masinagudi native Nagaraj, a farmer.

Maadev was attacked by a wild elephant at a place called Sarkarmoola in Devershola. This elephant is still causing panic in the area. The angry locals are protesting against the forest department. Nagaraj was killed by a wild elephant at around 4 am in Masinagudi. The attacks were carried out by two different elephants.

Wild animal attacks are becoming rampant in Kerala and bordering areas. Last week, the opposition had launched a strong protest after a woman was killed in a wild elephant attack in Kotamangalam.
