PALAKKAD: It is confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala to rejuvenate the NDA campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. On 15th March, PM Modi will attend a road show in Palakkad and Alathur constituencies to intensify the election campaign while the prime minister will put his focus on Pathanamthitta on 17th March to add up vigour into the campaigning of NDA candidate Anil Antony. The move was made considering the high win probability in Palakkad and to create serious inroads in Pathanamthitta which in recent years has turned into an NDA stronghold.
The NDA election office was first opened in Palakkad. The leadership is expecting unprecedented success in constituencies like Malampuzha, Shornur, Kongad and Palakkad. NDA will work on ways to garner as many as votes possible from these regions. C Krishnakumar is the NDA candidate from Palakkad while the candidate in Alathur has not been announced yet.
The names of Shajumon Vattekkad and Renu Suresh are being considered for Alathur. However, the party is also looking to field one popular name in the place to create a sudden impact. It is expected that PM Modi will attend more such rallies in the coming days across Kerala to work on his party’s touted target to wrest control over south India.
