Cillian Murphy best actor, Robert Downey Jr best supporting actor, Nolan's Oppenheimer wins six Oscars, Emma Stone best actress

CALIFORNIA: The presentation of the 96th Oscars, which was awaited by world cinema fans, began at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer has won six awards.

Cillian Murphy won the best actor award for his performance in Oppenheimer. Christopher Nolan was nominated for best director. Oppenheimer won six awards, including best camera, best cinematography, and best background music. Emma Stone won the Oscars for best actress for her role in Poor Things.

The award for best supporting actress was given for the first time. Day Van Joy Randolph won best supporting actress for her performance in 'The Holdovers'. Robert Downey Jr won best supporting actor for his performance in Oppenheimer.

Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' has received the most nominations this year. 13 in number. Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things received 11 nominations and Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon received 10 nominations.

Nolan's Oppenheimer was nominated for best cinematography. Dutch-Swedish cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema received the award. The Godzilla franchise also received the award this time. Japanese film Godzilla Minus One won the award for Visual Effects. The Boy and the Heron was selected as the best animated film.
