‘Sathyabhama Teacher, this is too much’, remembering what Kalabhavan Mani told me in tears

vinayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Director Vinayan reacted strongly against Kalamandalam Sathyabhama for her racial slur against dancer RLV Ramakrishnan. In a Facebook post, Vinayan said that since he is the brother of Kalabhavan Mani, these derogatory remarks pained him. He mentioned in the post that Mani had cried and told him that he had felt the pain of hatred and neglect a lot in his artistic career.

‘We have lost the humanity of our state. Her remarks that Ramakrishnan has the complexion of a crow and that even his mother will not tolerate him. This is really too much. Can anyone say this if the children born to Sathybhama or her children are ugly or disabled?' asked Vinayan.

Vinayan’s words
Insulting Kalabhavan Mani's younger brother Ramakrishnan in the name of colour is a heinous and despicable act. If Kalamandalam Satyabhama is proud to be an artist, she should retract her statement and tender an apology. When Sathyabhama was talking to the channels, saw a picture of Lord Krishna on the wall behind.

Teacher Sathyabhama, Lord Srikrishna had the complexion of a crow. The teacher herself may have read many works praising the beauty of Lord Krishna. It was Lord Vishnu who disguised himself as Mohini to subjugate the asuras. Teacher, Lord Vishnu is not a woman. And what is the justification in saying this.

There is another element of hatred in this. Kalabhavan Mani has cried and told me that he had felt the pain of hatred and neglect a lot in his artistic life.
