Rs 50 lakhs stolen in broad daylight; incident took place in Uppala in Kasargod

KASARGOD: In a shocking incident, Rs 50 lakhs was stolen from a vehicle in broad daylight. The incident took place in Uppala in Kasargod. The money was stolen from a vehicle which was transporting the money to the ATM. The preliminary conclusion is that 50 lakh rupees have been lost. The officer and the driver were filling the ATM when the thief broke the glass of the vehicle and took the box containing the money. Further details awaited.
