Youth falls into unused well followed by friends trying to save him, fire force comes to rescue

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three youths who fell into an unused well were rescued by the fire force. Nikhil (19) and Nithin (18) of Kattuvila House in Attingal's Kattumpuram and Rahul Raj (18), of Puthanvila House in Attingal, fell into the well this afternoon.

At first, one among the group fell into the well, and his friends tried to save him. After this, the other two also fell into the well. Then the locals who came to know about the incident tried to rescue them but could not and called the fire force. The fire brigade arrived and rescued all three. They were taken to Attingal Government Taluk Hospital. Later, Nithin and Rahul Raj were shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital as their injuries were serious.
