THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the completion of the nomination process, the Congress will collect funds from the people for the election activities in the state. The party will visit houses with the slogan 'vote with a note', explaining the circumstances in which the Income Tax Department has frozen the accounts of the Congress.

There was a plan to print coupons for fund collection, but it has been decided not to do so. Instead, the money received from the people will be received by the respective local election committees. The party has decided to accept any amount from Rs.10. After scrutinizing the nomination papers in all 20 constituencies, the activists will conduct house visits for collection. The party has directed to explain the situation along with distributing campaign notices of the candidates.

Fundraising can also be used to turn the party's current financial crisis into a way to connect with the people. Along with this, the party's contention that the BJP-led central government is trying to financially suffocate and destroy the Congress by using various agencies will also be explained to the people. Along with this, the party has also instructed to intensify the campaign at the grassroots level.
