CM’s speech disrupted for five minutes as mike breaks into two 

KOTTAYAM: A mike broke into two when Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was delivering a speech. The incident happened when the chief minister came to Vaikkom, for the election campaign of Thomas Chazhikkadan, the LDF candidate of Kottayam Lok Sabha constituency.

The speech was disrupted for five minutes after the mike broke. The chief minister will be participating in many programmes in Kottayam today. The first of these was at Vaikkom. While adjusting the mike for his speech, the mike broke and fell into his hand.

The CM returned to his seat after the incident. Minister Vasavan and Jose K Mani MP tried to fix the mike. The operator later repaired it and the chief minister came back and delivered his speech. The chief minister earlier got angry when the mike malfunctioned during his speech. There were even reports that a case would be filed against the mic operators.
